Virtual Visits For 2026-27 School Year

Presentation Details:

  • 45 minutes, approx. 5 mins about the author, 10 mins about the selected book, 5 mins of reading, and 25 mins Q&A*. (For the 2026-2027 school year, the majority of questions must be submitted ahead of time. The last 5 minutes can be used for live or follow-up questions from educators.)

  • Available for grades K-8, though each audience should not span more than three grade levels.

  • Recording is prohibited.

  • Please note: in-person presentations are NOT offered virtually.

Presentations Will Focus on One Book (or One Book Series):

  • Our Universe Books (ex: Our Solar System! A Stellar Neighborhood, Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years, Sun! One in a Billion, Venus! Fierce and Fabulous, etc.)
    Grades: K-1 or 2-4

  • Millionaires for the Month
    Grades: 3-5 and 6-8

  • Where are the Aliens? The Search for Life Beyond Earth
    Grades: 4-8

  • The Evers! (Forever Twelve and Never Thirteen)
    Grades 4-5 or 6-8

  • The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl
    Grades: 3-5 or 6-8

  • Are We There Yet? The First Road Trip Across the USA
    Grades: 2-4

Tech Details:

  • School must provide a hosting platform such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, MS Teams, Skype

  • Adult moderator from the school must be present

  • A test call with Stacy is available on request

  • Presentation (including Q&A) may not be recorded

Book Sales:

  • Personalized and signed books can be ordered from Bookmarks in Winston-Salem, NC

  • Allow 3-4 weeks for book sales

  • Book sales are not required

  • Stacy will also sign book plate provided by the school

Other Details:

  • Contract and invoice will be provided (and tax form if required)

  • Payment due within 14 business days of virtual visit
